Located in Western Carolina University’s Technology Commons, The 3DU, is a collaboration between the Division of Information Technology and Hunter Library.
Offering WCU students, faculty, and staff access to the latest technology, this space includes 3D printing for maximizing creativity, assorted software/hardware for researching, creating, and editing. The State Library of North Carolina awarded a Literacy and Lifelong Learning grant to create this space, with funding made available from the Library Services Technology Act and administered through the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources.
